A lead pipeline is useful only when an inquiry creates accountable work. The SettleLift prototype keeps a lead’s source, state, assignment context and follow-up together, and makes possible duplicates visible before conversion.

- Record the incoming inquiry and its source. Review possible matches without silently overwriting an existing person.
- Create the task, unread notification and unsent draft alongside the lead so a missing provider connection is visible.
- Convert after review. Preserve the original follow-up links and return the existing client if the same conversion is retried.
