Keep the document and the decision together.
A settlement file can include financial intake, authorizations, creditor correspondence, proposed terms and final agreements. A useful document workspace preserves the client relationship and makes the current version easy to identify. Sharing and signing are separate actions with different evidence requirements.
A deliberate document lifecycle.
- Organize documents within the client’s record. The prototype implements local upload, preview, expanded viewing, download and recoverable trash, with file-type and signature checks.
- Generate an unsigned worksheet from a versioned template and the recorded intake/debt snapshot. Existing generated packets keep their original values when the source case changes.
- Choose what to share with the client. Production signing must capture the signer, exact document, consent, timestamps and audit evidence, then archive the completed material in the correct record.
What stays connected
Keep files linked to the client, debt and offer revision they support. Preserve generated worksheet snapshots when intake changes. Live signatures, provider evidence and production document storage still need connection and verification.

Can a staff checklist prove that a customer signed?
No. Checklist completion, document generation and an authenticated signature are different events. The prepared workflow reserves legal evidence for verified server-written records.
