Know the organization. Reach the right team.
The name on an original credit account may not be the company that owns or services it today. Contacts also change: a general service line, settlement desk, law firm and assigned representative can require different routes. SettleLift Connect organizes that relationship around the account.
Connect the account to the right organization.
- Maintain organization records for original creditors, debt buyers, collection agencies, law firms and servicers. Add aliases without automatically merging different legal entities.
- Record contact or team name, department, telephone, extension, email, fax, hours and time zone. Attach a verification source and a review date so stale information remains visible.
- Link the original creditor, current owner and collector to the specific debt. Preserve effective dates, reference details and authority references when an assignment changes.
What stays connected
Keep contact details with the department, extension, hours, time zone, verification source and last review date. Preserve earlier assignments when an account moves. A reliable contact source does not by itself establish account authority or payment instructions.

Is the creditor portal the same as a bank integration?
No. Invited representatives can collaborate through a portal only after onboarding is implemented. Direct APIs and payment networks need separate provider agreements, credentials and certification. No partner connection is active in the preview.
