Build the case before making the commitment.
A new inquiry needs more than a name in a pipeline. The team needs a follow-up owner, the consumer’s state, hardship context, financial intake and a debt inventory. When sales hands the case to operations, that context should travel with it.
From intake to a reviewable enrollment.
- Capture the inquiry and review possible duplicates before creating another person record. The prototype links a task, notification and unsent follow-up draft to the new lead.
- Record income, expenses, hardship and proposed contribution alongside each creditor account. Review the assumptions with the consumer rather than treating a suggested contribution as a verified commitment.
- Generate a versioned worksheet, review enrollment prerequisites and check company-specific state eligibility. Conversion should preserve the task and draft links instead of starting the record again.
What stays connected
Carry the reviewed financial picture and debt inventory into enrollment. Preserve the worksheet version the team actually reviewed, and keep company eligibility and missing information visible before advancing the case.

Will converting a lead erase the follow-up work?
The prototype and prepared conversion transaction preserve linked tasks and drafts. Possible existing clients require review; the system does not silently merge people by name.
